Shakespeare’s Globe is developing a new-build West Block and refurbishing its existing basement and backstage spaces. Our sustainability consultants and BREEAM assessors at Eight Versa worked closely with the Southwark based architects, Allies and Morrison, and M&E consultants Skelly & Couch to develop the project’s sustainability strategy, which is currently on track to secure a BREEAM ‘Excellent’ rating for the new build elements of the project, and a high BREEAM ‘Very Good’ rating for the refurbishment.
