Collecting Evidence
The team undertook air, water, thermal, lighting and sound measurements for both pre-testing and formal testing parts of the WELL certification. As with all WELL PV projects, the Eight Versa team used a mixture of real-time measurement equipment and sample collection for lab analysis. In addition, the Eight Versa team was responsible for touring the project space to collect evidence for WELL features targeted as per the WELL punch list. This included taking photos of various health and wellbeing design features, such as the no-idling sign and the wellbeing library.
Providing Assurance
Platinum Results
The design and construction of Myo Liverpool Street were carried out with diligence in line with the WELL v2 pilot manual. The testing carried out by Eight Versa confirmed that the Myo Liverpool Street development meets the requirements of a WELL Platinum Certification by the International WELL Building Institute (IWBI). WELL Platinum certification places Myo Liverpool Street within an elite group of buildings within the UK, with only eight other buildings having been certified to the same level and making this one of the top ten healthiest spaces nationwide. Myo Liverpool Street is also the first flexible office space to achieve this standard in the City of London. The result is a clear message of reassurance to existing and future tenants that Landsec is championing the health and wellbeing of its building users and provides transparency that the Myo is delivering on this promise in operation.
Oliver Knight, Head of Offices at Landsec had this to say:
“We’re seeing first-hand how the right workspace can create value for our customers by enabling collaboration, retaining talent and building their individual culture. Creating buildings which have a positive impact on people’s wellbeing is a key part of this. Myo Liverpool Street is an exceptional space which places customer wellbeing at its heart so we’re delighted that it has been recognised as one of the healthiest spaces in the UK.”
